Terms & Conditions*
- I am adopting the pet described above through Rebel Rescue South Korea (RRSK). The pet is being adopted as a companion and will live as a family member with me inside my home.
- I agree this is a permanent adoption. I will not sell, give away, rehome, or otherwise dispose of the animal to any person(s), dealer, retailer, auction, institute, or any other entity for any reason. I further agree that if at a later date I am unable or unwilling to keep the animal, I will first contact RRSK to reclaim the animal or authorize rehoming.
- I will under no circumstance take the animal to a different shelter while in South Korea.
- I agree to care for the animal in a humane and responsible manner and to provide it with clean and adequate shelter, food, water, and routine/emergency veterinary care.
- I agree that if the animal is not spayed/neutered at the time of adoption, I will have the animal spayed/neutered at my expense at the soonest medically advisable time unless there is an arrangement made with RRSK to spay/neuter at the cost of the rescue. I will not breed this animal and will prevent accidental litters.
- I agree that I have permission from my realtor/landlord (if applicable) to have this animal residing on the property. I have considered the needs of the animal and know that my house is suitable and safe for this animal.
- I agree that I will register the animal with the on-post veterinary treatment facility (U.S. military/affiliates) or local government as required by law within 10 days of the effective adoption date.
- I acknowledge that RRSK personnel cannot make any guarantees about the animal's age, breed, health, and temperament.
- I agree that I will follow all local laws and guidelines regarding control and handling of my animal in public spaces. I will not allow my animal to roam freely unsupervised outside of a fenced space.
- I agree to supervise my animal's interactions with children and other pets as a responsible owner. I agree to provide a structured, safe environment for the animal and make every effort to seek out training or other resources if needed for helping me with my animal.
- I agree to inform RRSK immediately if the animal is lost or stolen and make every reasonable effort to recover the animal. If the animal is lost during the foster-to-adopt trial period (2 weeks for puppies/kittens, 4 weeks for adults) while under my care, I will supply a $250 (or won equivalent) reward incentive to encourage people to help look for the animal.
- I agree that within the foster-to-adopt trial period, the animal will be returned to the RRSK if requested. This will be accomplished as soon as possible and will only be requested in circumstances where I have been negligent or found unsuitable to care for the animal.
- I understand the costs associated with moving this animal overseas to my home country (if applicable) and will prepare accordingly to ensure the animal will not be abandoned.
- I agree to pay the adoption fee, which goes toward maintaining and supporting the rescue that made it possible to adopt this animal. I understand it is not refundable outside of the foster-to-adopt period.
- I hereby understand and agree that RRSK makes no representations or warranties, expressed or implied, about the above mentioned animal's temperament and is hereby absolved from any liability for future damages or injuries caused by said animal. I also understand and agree that RRSK further gives no guarantees, expressed or implied, of the suitability of the animal to the adopter and/or his family.
